Hellion

About the costume

Originally made to partner with Slothcore’s Plague Doctor for a Halloween event, and then upgraded for a photoshoot, Hellion was a fun adventure in low-stakes trying new things.

Things attempted for the first (or basically first) time:

• modelling with foam clay (belt buckle)

• weathering foam (belt buckle/torso “armour”)

• large, dismantlable-for-transportation prop (glaive)

• dyeing fabric

• weathering / breaking down fabric

Overall, it was a fun costume to make and a great way to experiment.
